Xpect Vision RVG Sensor for Digital Dental X-Ray Imaging – Size 1 is an advanced digital intraoral radiography sensor designed for fast and efficient dental X-ray imaging. It uses Photon-Counting Direct Conversion technology to capture X-ray information directly, helping provide clear and stable radiographic images.

The sensor features a 16-bit grayscale range and an actual resolution of 14–16 lp/mm, with an effective imaging area of 20 × 30 mm. Images can be captured in approximately 3 seconds, allowing dentists to obtain radiographs quickly during chairside procedures.

Its compact design is intended to improve intraoral positioning and patient comfort. The sensor is protected by an IP68-rated casing and includes a reinforced cable designed to withstand more than 100,000 bending cycles. The sensor is also tested for more than 500,000 exposures while maintaining image quality, making it suitable for regular use in busy dental clinics.

1. Connect the Xpect Vision sensor to a compatible computer through the USB connection.
2. Install or open the compatible imaging software.
3. Position the Size 1 sensor intraorally according to the required radiographic projection.
4. Position the X-ray tube correctly and follow appropriate radiation-safety protocols.
5. Capture the required dental radiograph.
6. Review and process the image using the compatible imaging software.
7. Save or export the image in the required supported format.
8. After use, clean and disinfect the sensor according to the manufacturer’s recommended procedure.
9. Avoid excessive bending or pulling of the sensor cable.
10. Store the sensor safely after use.
