• Place the UDS-J main unit on a stable and suitable working surface.
• Connect the footswitch to its designated socket.
• Connect the water tube to the water inlet and use a clean water source.
• Connect the power supply and switch on the main unit.
• Before starting, set the potentiometer to the required initial position as instructed by the manufacturer.
• Attach the appropriate scaling tip securely to the handpiece using the supplied wrench.
• Start the unit using the footswitch and adjust the water flow to produce an adequate spray.
• Set the vibration intensity according to the procedure and patient sensitivity.
• During scaling, use light pressure and controlled back-and-forth movements. Avoid excessive force or holding the tip against the tooth surface for prolonged periods.
• Maintain adequate water spray to cool the handpiece and clean the treatment area.
• After completing the procedure, keep the machine operating with water supply for approximately 30 seconds to clean the handpiece and scaling tip.
• Remove the scaling tip after use and follow the recommended sterilization procedure.
