1. Connect the airotor handpiece to a compatible dental air connection.
2. Ensure that the air and water supply are properly connected before operation.
3. Press the push-button chuck to insert a compatible friction-grip dental bur.
4. Release the button and confirm that the bur is securely retained before starting the procedure.
5. Activate the handpiece and allow the bur to reach operating speed before contacting the tooth.
6. Use appropriate water spray during operation to assist with cooling.
7. Apply controlled, light pressure according to the clinical procedure and avoid excessive force.
8. After completing the procedure, stop the handpiece and remove the bur using the push-button mechanism.
9. Clean the handpiece according to the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance procedure.
